Program Manager (Contract) - Automotive

Program manager required for a 12 month contract within the automotive industry. Program management experience within the automotive industry is essential, preferably seating but all automotive experience will be considered. GM or Ford launch experience would also be beneficial but not essential.

The role will involve;

- Planning, managing and controlling all PDP activities, ensuring all deliverables are completed.
- Leading the program team through effective communication and coordination
- Ensuring effective communication and reporting to the suppliers, Customer and relevant JIT plants and Group Office
- Managing the program team effectively in order to meet all customer and internal timing milestones
- Providing and interface to all internal departments on program specific requirements
- Assuring adequate program planning to meet customer and internal needs
- Conducting regular program reviews and phase and gate reviews in line with PDP
- Facilitating high level interaction with the Customer and suppliers and internally where required
- Undertaking any other given responsibilities as a result of operational necessity.
- Ensuring compliance to all Company and plant health, safety and environmental work practices and procedures along with legislative requirements.
