Program Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supports UMTS launches in the local market.
- Manages cross-functional teams comprised of Vendors, OEM Vendors, Market RAN/RF, the Market Transport Organization, and Finance to coordinate the various components necessary to construct, integrate, optimize, and launch UMTS projects.
- Establishes project schedules and timelines, tracks and communicates progress to various levels of leadership, processes and approves invoices, and drives the projects to successful completion on schedule and according to budget.
- Develops various reports in Excel and PowerPoint, maintains proprietary applications, and provides status reports in email and via presentations to upper management.

SKILLS:

This individual must maintain strong project management skills and have experience running projects in the wireless arena. It is preferred that the candidate has experience managing UMTS projects, and specifically, has experience launching UMTS carriers. It is extremely important that the individual be comfortable driving projects through various organizations and not overly concerned with confrontation. This individual must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and aggressive environment. The job requires extensive use of Microsoft Excel, strong communication skills - written & verbal -, organization, and leadership. Must be an expert in working with cross-functional teams.
