Program Manager

THE COMPANY

A leading telecommunications organisation has a newly created opportunity for a Program Director to work closely with a high profile government client. This opportunity is a 6 month contract with the view to extend for the long term.

THE ROLE

- Direct and manage a large team (up to 20) of high performance project management professionals in the delivery of program activities and deliverables
- Resource management including management
- Recruitment and maintenance of resource levels
- Identify and manage all key internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain and Manage PMO requirements and outputs
- Assess customer requirements from contract and discussions with sales and service delivery.
- Produce and keep up to date the program plan, including budget; resources; schedule; risk assessment and mitigation; and communications
- Plan, schedule, monitor and report on the status of milestones and all key elements of the program
- Monitor and analyse program progress and costs
- Identify scope and manage any changes to initial program specifications, and report change impact to stakeholders
- Demonstrate that project objectives have been achieved to customer requirements, and manage a smooth handover to internal and external operational teams
- Plan own workload to achieve deliverables in required time frames

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 5 Years plus Program Director experience in the management of transition and transformation programs. Total deal value must be in excess of $10 Million
- 10 years plus Program Management experience in the management of transition and transformation Programs
- Experience in Contact Centre integration, preferably Cisco Call Manager, Genesys, Verint and IVR integration
- Extensive experience in Service delivery aligned to ITIL v3
- People and Team Management experience.
- Broad knowledge of commercial, business, technical and legal acumen
- Exceptional recruitment experience.
