Program Manager

Our client is a global leader in the resources industry with operations in over 25 countries. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Manager to join their team on a Full time 12 month contract. The position will be located within their corporate offices in the Perth CBD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensures adherence to legally binding requirements and clients long term goals
- Plans, directs and coordinates a cross functional teams activities to manage and implement project and interrelated programs from proposal initiation to final operational stage
- Facilitates status review meetings among project team members and clients
- Establishes appropriate metrics for measuring key Program criteria
- Facilitates the creation of communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged among key stakeholders
- Identifies and recommends contingency measures
- Leads the program team in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans
- Determines, monitors and reviews all program economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, sub-contractors, resources and risk
- Controls project/program requirements, cost, scope and change management issues

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- 10 years experience in Project/Program management
- Strong understanding and experience of key integration technologies such as SharePoint, BizTalk, Workflow, ETL and Master Data Management
- Familiar with applications such as Process Historians and Laboratory Systems
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Oil and Gas experience highly advantageous
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent
