Program Finance Analyst Job

FINANCE ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Rochester, NY.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Contractual cost & revenue forecasting
- Understand and develop monthly program forecasts of revenue, costs, margin and cash flows for international programs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Forecast the revenue and billings related to product shipments, services or project milestones.
- Act as a business partner with Program Managers to review overall program status, project financials, current forecast and risks and opportunities.
- Support Invoicing, open accounts receivable, international shipments and documentation.
- Support all financial audit requests
- Work with Program Manager, Bids & proposals, Sales Order Administration and functional departments (purchasing, subcontracts, shipping etc) to create initial budget and monthly estimates for cost elements.
- Provide comprehensive budget support and maintenance to programs - close budgets when appropriate.
- Process non-PO invoices, inter-company business invoices, per-diems, new vendor set-up.
- Work with cost accounting to build consensus on deferred revenue schedule as it applies to assigned programs.
- Ad-hoc reports/projects, as necessary.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management required with a minimum of five (5) years related experience (MBA preferred).
- Requires ability to work with others to forecast program costs (direct & Indirect)
- a firm knowledge of revenue recognition concepts (ie deferred revenue and/or percent of completion
- Advanced Excel and Access skills required.
- Ability to implement new initiatives, build consensus and use personal leadership to implement change.
- Ideal candidate would be adaptable, quick to learn and possess the ability to work in a team environment.

- Preferred experience in the following areas: general accounting, program/project management
