Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO) is looking for passionate people who share our mission of helping girls grow strong and who strive to make a difference.

GSNEO is now accepting applications for PT Program Facilitators to serve our Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Lorain and Youngstown communities. This position offers a flexible schedule. The right person will facilitate grant funded programs to girls ages 5-17 in an assigned geographic area. This position is responsible for providing high quality experiences to girls in accordance with specific grant requirements, while extending girl membership and supporting new volunteers in Girl Scouts of North East Ohio.

Program schedules vary, primarily during the school day and after school, with some evenings and weekends; most funded programs are delivered in 4-10 week series. Program Facilitators will maintain proper documentation for measurement of program success. The right individual will have some college experience in education, child development, social work and/or a combination of work experience of 2-4 years and a record of successful program delivery; strong human relations skills such as leadership, networking, and relationship building; ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality; is a self-starter with strong organizational skills, ability to problem solve and meet deadlines while working under pressure; communicate the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, and/or authority when necessary. Individual must have reliable transportation and computer literacy and technical knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

May need to know or be able to learn other software specific to Girl Scouts.

The right individual will have an Associates degree or some college experience preferred, in education, early childhood development and/or a combination of work related experience of 2-4 years; knowledge of the Girl Scout program preferred; ability to meet travel requirements, including night, weekend and overnight travel; successful completion of criminal background check on annual basis; valid driver's license; proof of insurance and access to insured vehicle in working condition; occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
