Program Coordinator

The key role of a Program Coordinator within the program management office is to contribute to the planning and delivery of various NPI and facilities related projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Accountable for project initiation, planning, and control of complex projects related to component, subsystems, or process development.
- Performs complex project planning, identifies critical issues, and drives the project team to resolve gaps and problems. Incumbents may work directly with different units, suppliers, customers and/or other teams. Decisions made may affect the project team and its delivery of the project.
- Plan and lead program and project planning sessions, facilitate project meetings, and run critical reports.
- Preparation and pre-work for the session as well as follow up and action ownership.
- Mentor/coach the leadership team and address leadership issues one-on-one with senior divisional and department management.
- Will support Legal/Regulatory projects.
- Will function independently in leading a large diverse program or project planning session.
- Provide input for staffing and support of programs and create accurate and detailed schedules.

SKILLS:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidate must be proficient in the use of Primavera-P6 Project management software.
- Candidate must be highly skilled facilitator with 5-7 years of project management experience and be able to perform complex assignments.
- This position requires a self-starter with strong leadership skills.
- Applicants must have the ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well as employees in other units.
- Ability to communicate information in a concise and accurate manner.
- The incumbent must be able to facilitate a meeting, stop any side bar conversations constructively, and be able to keep the team focused on the objective at hand.
- This position must also be able to train and mentor others.

DESIRABLE:

- PMP Certification.
- The candidate should have the ability to adapt to diverse business climates.
