Program Coordinator

DESCRIPTION:
Accountable for project initiation, planning, and control of complex projects related to component, subsystems, or process development. Performs complex project planning, identifies critical issues, and drives the project team to resolve gaps and problems. Works directly with different units, suppliers, customers and other teams. Requires the ability to communicate information in a concise and accurate manner. Decisions made may affect the project team and its delivery of the project.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in the use of Primavera-P6 Project management software. Highly skilled facilitator with 5-7 years of project management experience and be able to perform complex assignments. Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well as employees in other units. Plan and lead program and project planning sessions, facilitate project meetings, and run critical reports. Function independently leading a large diverse program or project planning session. Preparation and pre-work for the session as well as follow up and action ownership. Mentor/coach the leadership team and address leadership issues one-on-one with senior divisional and department management.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PMP Certification. Ability to adapt to diverse business climates. Able to facilitate a meeting, stop any side bar conversations constructively, and be able to keep the team focused on the objective at hand.
