Professional Services Business Consultant - Post trade

This Business Consulting role sits within an experienced Professional Services team within a large Financial Services Software Organisation. This organisation builds and installs an STP solution for post trade confirmation, matching and settlements for large Financial Institutions.

The consulting position will require a strong business analysis skill set including running client workshops, requirements gathering, functional specification writing and assisting with testing client implementations to ensure effective delivery of the software solutions.

In order to be successful in this Business Analyst / Consulting role you will need to have a strong understanding of the product set and in particular:

STP system for post trade confirmation matching and settlement

Trade Processing, including Trade Confirmations, Local and Central Matching.

Trade Validation & Enrichment

Settlement Processing

Processing requirements for Equities, Fixed Income, Money Markets, FX, Derivatives, RVP, FOP and Unit Trust/Mutual Fund Trades

The Business Analyst role will allow you to have involvement in the full project lifecycle including business requirements extraction and analysis, documentation, test case creation and execution, general assistance in the implementation and post implementation relationship management. You may also be asked to assist in the presales process, product management and user training as a subject matter expert.

Essential skills:

Business Analysis within a Financial Software Arena

In-depth knowledge and experience of working with and ideally implementing post trade processing software including confirmations, matching and settlements software.

Client facing experience

Experience of either presales, project management or product management

Strong presentation skills

Additional skills which would be beneficial but not essential:

Omgeo, Oasys or CTM

Swift

Fix

BA Tools - e.g. Use Cases

Location: City ofLondon

Salary: 50 - 85k depending on experience
