For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

Professional Project Manager

BACKGROUND:

Our client has created a new start-up business charged with building a modern software stack that will change the way patients are cared for. Our challenge is to bring together data generated by instruments with other patient data and medical know-how to provide diagnostics interpretation support services, use of instrument data to identify population health observations and re-use of instrument data for Research & Development and Health Economics studies for internal customers.

We are looking for a Project Manager who will get to define and implement best practices with the ability to influence the business and improve health outcomes for millions. Plus get to work side by side with a team of world-class doctors and researchers who want to impact global healthcare delivery.
The Project Manager is a key role on the Instrument Data Medical Value (IDMV) team, with primary responsibility for software and project delivery. This role is supporting the delivery of a software release, including planning and tracking, ensuring delivery of our quality system deliverables, and reporting status to management. This role requires the ability to influence a large cross-functional project team, communicate issues, risks, and mitigations to upper management, and track projects from concept to delivery. A medical device background with experience working in a regulated environment is a big plus, as working efficiently within a Quality System will be a key success factor.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) Project Delivery:
- Support software projects through delivery milestones by authoring documents and working with key stakeholders in engineering and outside to ultimately release software to customers.
- Define, plan, and direct the execution of the project while balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk to produce a high quality product.
- Facilitate project management activities across the entire project management methodology.
- Ensure successful and timely completion of deliverables track progress against baseline schedule
- Plan, baseline and control costs to ensure projects are completed within approved budget.
- Conduct risk and issue management planning, identification, analysis and monitoring on projects.

b) Process Champion:
- Working with colleagues in Quality and Regulatory to ensure the processes we use meet all quality and regulatory requirements, but also are lean and efficient for our software business.

- Data Scientists
- Medical Director Data Services
- DIS Software CoE
- Quality function

MUST HAVES:

- Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 5+ years of project management experience (especially with medical devices, IT projects)
- Good understanding of IT product development processes in regulated environment
- Experience in project organization and resource mobilization, and management of stakeholders
- Experience dealing with stakeholder management issues on a global level (scope, time, cost, quality, risk, team)
- Excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong understanding of Project Management Methodology concepts (including waterfall and agile development)
- Strong understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV) concepts
- Fluency in English
