For our international client based near Basel, Experis is currently looking for a PC Technician for a contracting position until the end of the year.
Background:
For the Manufacturing IT Kaiseraugst Team we are looking for someone to support our client infrastructure on site in the manufacturing and laboratory area. S/he will perform the 2nd Level Support for the infrastructure components we manage, working following ITIL and CSV guidelines, define, run and document changes within the system. The candidate will be in close collaboration with Business and Quality Assurance and will also support running projects. To be prepared for the job an intensive training will be carried out at the beginning of the employment.

- Latest start date: 13.11.2017
- End date: 31.12.2017
- Extension: An extension is planned, but needs to be approved.
- Work location: Kaiseraugst, Building 238
- Workload: 100%
- Remote/Home Office: Not possible
- Travelling: Not required
- Department: FPPM (Pharma Informatics - Manufacturing IT)
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Implementation and qualification of client infrastructure in the manufacturing area. This includes also peripherals like label printers, barcode scanners etc.
- 2nd Level field support
- Support of projects
- Be the contact for customer for new requests/demand
- Once onboard on call support
- Close collaboration with internal and external partners like Business, Informatics, Engineering and Suppliers
You bring for this role the following qualifications:
* 5+ years of relevant experience in supporting IT infrastructure in a manufacturing or laboratory area
* Excellent know-how in Windows OS and installation of different applications
* Fluent German speaking
* Proactive investigation of issues
* Great customer focus skills and attention to details (proactive, communicative and a "thinker")
* Great communication skills, particularly in German
* Great team player
* CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality

- English would be an advantage
