PROFESSIONAL DESKTOP SUPPORT ANALYST

One of the biggest international pharmaceutical companies with HQ in Basel is looking for a PROFESSIONAL DESKTOP SUPPORT ANALYST.
This is a challenging contracting position STARTING IN OCTOBER UNTIL THE END OF JANUARY 2019.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install Windows 10 computers using standard images
- Scheduling and appointments with customers to exchange Windows 7 with Windows 10 computers
- Data- & configuration backup at the customer's site
- Deployment of Windows 10 computers with subsequent data- configuration restore
- Assignment of required software via SCCM
- If required, manual installation of software according to installation instructions
- Brief instruction for customers, support with simple software and hardware problems
- Working with the given Ticket Tool HP Service Manager/Service Now and company-owned Asset Management Tools
- Cooperation in continuous improvements
- Participation in status meetings
YOUR SKILLS/EXPERIENCES ARE:
- +5 years of working experience in similar environments
- Good trained in IT support, completed an IT apprenticeship
- Computer support knowledge and roll-out experience (minimum 1 year of experience)
- Customer friendliness and good communication skills in English and German
- Sophisticated appearance
- Teamwork skills
- German (proficient level)
- English (advanced level)
NICE TO HAVE:
- French
- Microsoft or Windows 10 certificates
- Experience with project coordination
