Professional Controller

For our banking client we are looking for a Professional - Controller

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Location: Zürich

Summary: Responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. Job

Responsibilities:

* Manage the monthly and quarterly process including financial statement review.

* Lead the building of scalable and efficient accounting close process

* Ensure accounting systems and processes are continually streamlined via process

improvement to achieve greater efficiencies and accuracy

Manage the general ledger and consolidation processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, closing, statements, and schedules.

Skills:

* Progressive experience in accounting and finance.

* Prior experience as controller

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of presenting complex financial information

* Strong attention to detail and follow-up.

* Strong project management and execution skills.

Education/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field required. Advanced degree preferred. CPA required.

* 10+ years experience required.
