PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ANALYST - GXP - PHARMACEUTICAL - SWITZERLAND
NextLink is currently looking for the PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ANALYST to work for a global pharmaceutical company in Switzerland.
THE BUSINESS ANALYST performs a range of analytical and conceptual activities, underpinning an accounted solution portfolio, in conjunction with internal business customers. They will provide functional and strategic expertise for a range of related business processes and solutions.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the collection, analysis and documentation of business requirements (defining affected business processes, IT-systems and roles) in line with client standards/PMM approach
Where there are already defined requirements, revalidate these to ensure the business case is still valid
Update/prepare the project charter and other mandatory deliverables supporting the relevant PMM phases together with the Informatics Project Manager (IPM)
Work with delivery and the project team to ensure that the end solution is consistent with the URS (User Requirements Specification) and Businesses' needs
Capture Operational Support Model requirements, obligations, constraints and define the underpinning sub processes
Gain an understanding of existing systems' functionality, compare current/envisioned business processes to system functionality, and document gaps
Create as-is and to-be process models and associated information/control flows to represent business processes for the area under analysis (ideally be able to use client or similar business process modelling tools ie ADONIS)
Support creation of end-to-end test scenarios
Define KPIs with a view to demonstrating gains through actual process improvements
Document discussions (meeting minutes) and circulate to the group and obtain sign off to ensure all stakeholders are on the same page with regards to any issues
Provide inputs in developing solution architecture and design
Collaborate across functions to determine if solutions currently exist (internally or externally) or whether new solutions are feasible to meet requirements
Support the assessment of dependencies, potential issues and risks
Review and align with client`s policies, procedures and practices to determine specifications and requirements for any development
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE as a Business Analyst, background ideally gained in the Life Sciences domain
3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE in Validation and GxP as well of knowledge of PMM or similar methodologies (PMI)
3-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE of cloud based CRM technologies (Salesforce and possibly also Pega with AWS), Master data management, system integration (ie with SAP, Oracle based systems) and Business Objects reporting
Background of working within AGILE project environments/using JIRA/globally distributed teams
Have the necessary technical appreciate to work effectively with the client Architectural community (exposure to TOGAF is a positive)
Proficiency in analysing, documenting and redesigning Business Process Models with the ability to reify and measure success of said processes
Hold or be working towards Business Analyst accreditation (ie BCS, IIBA CCBA or CBAP)
Effective communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation
Ability to guide and work with multiple functional and technical teams
Fluent in English
