An NIH funded position for a Postdoctoral Scholar in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience is available immediately in the lab of Dr. Bernhard Luscher, Professor, Department of Biology, The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, USA. The aim of this project is to unravel molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the etiology of Major Depressive disorder using genetically engineered mouse models. The successful applicant will have recently graduated with PhD in Neuroscience, Physiology or a related field, and have a solid foundation in slice electrophysiology, preferably with additional expertise in histochemistry, microscopic imaging techniques or rodent behavioral analyses.
