Productivity Jr. Scientist

Work closely with Product Development team to create protocols designed to test Productivity opportunities, as well as scoping of new Productivity ideas.

- Develop working knowledge of specification system to enable specifications updates for project implementation.
- Support all steps from ideation through to project implementation, tasks include but are not limited to:
- Gum/Candy making
- Product testing
- Coordinating sensory/consumer testing
- Coordinating analytical testing (both internal and external)
- Coordinating and reporting on shelf life studies
- Specifications input and updates

SKILLS:

Degree in Food Science or related field preferred (Chemistry, Nutrition, Chemical Engineering) with some (1+ years) experience in industry. Lab experience in food is preferred if the degree is not in Food Science/Nutrition.

- Strong computer-based skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn the internal computer systems such as the specifications system.
- Good interpersonal skills and likes working in a team.
- Self- Starter with Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Good problem solving skills
- GMP, GLP, FDA, and OSHA
