Production Task Area Manager

Role Purpose:

Working within Manufacturing UK assist the Production Project Manager to define, plan, direct and deliver Projects/Contracts against business plan targets. Work with associated organisations and manage stakeholder interfaces including internal customers. Ensuring accurate reporting of progress against all aspects of contract performance with rigorous cost control and schedule adherence.

Accountabilities
*Flow down and management of task directives and instructions
*Implement effective project management processes, tools and reporting mechanisms on achievement of the programme and budgets
*Plan, load and control budgets
*Identification and management of risks and opportunities
*Compilation of manufacturing cost at completion
*Compilation of monthly reporting metrics including schedule adherence and budget/spend reporting
*Compilation of workload forecast
*Compilation of project specific bids and estimates
*Management of non-conformance via level 1 and 2 defect review board
*Compilation of project programmes and schedules
*Management of project and company assets
*Maintain interface with project core teams with regard to management and reporting of current tasks and identification of future workload requirements
