PRODUCTION/SYSTEM ARCHITECT (IT AND DATA CENTER INFRASTRUCTURE) - PARIS , FRANCE - 12 MONTHS +

One of our blue chip clients is urgently looking for a Production/System Architect to reinforce my client's Infrastructure Support team.

Senior production architect who will work closely with projects' architects, helpdesk support, development environments support team

Mission: System Architect:

o Maintain, in collaboration with stakeholders, documentation related to IS architecture.
o Explanation and promotion of technical architecture.
o Proposal of architecture improvements.
o Design/Validation of technical choices/assets configuration and sizing.
o Identifying and managing technical risks.
o Participation to investigation on incidents.
o Proposal of solutions to solve problems.
o Performance and capacity management.
o Participation to exceptional production events (Infrastructure weekend, Disaster recovery test ).
o Support changes: change on the current IS and onboarding of new clients:
Analyze changes and their impact on the IS.
Propose solution/design to accommodate changes.
Plan the change implementation.
Prepare and execute acceptance.
Prepare and coordinate deployment to production with other teams (APTP run team, Broadridge, end-users, delivery team ).

Areas of expertise:
o x86 virtualization VMWare, Linux, Windows
o Backup, Storage network (IBM storage virtualization and array)
o Datacenter infrastructure and tools (ntp, DNS, ad, monitoring, scheduling)

o Nice to have:
Networks: LAN, WAN (MPLS/IPSEC), Internet, network security (Firewalls, IDS, IPS ...)
Oracle and SQLServer

Profile:
o Strong knowledge in IT and Data Center Infrastructure
o Good level of spoken and written English is required
o Analytical mind with ability to defend architecture choices
