Senior Production Support Specialist - Banking - London - Up to £70k/pa!

A leading Investment Bank is looking to bring on a Senior Production Support Specialist on a permanent basis, to join their Equity Derivates operations based in London.

The successful Production Support Specialist will provide 1st & 2nd line technical and functional support for Equity Derivatives Technology in London. This will have particular emphasis on flow Derivates, Pricing and Risk systems. Also, responsibilties will include maintaining relationships with vendors and development teams to drive improvements required for supportability.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

* Supporting of Sophis or Horizon
* Competent in SQL Server, Oracle, Unix/Windows and Excel/VBA.
* Commercial experience supporting Equities Derivatives
* Compliance Reporting (Dodd Frank production support life cycle)
* Languages: Shell Scripting, C/C++, Java, PERL, PHP, SQL
* Strong investment banking background
* Experience managing 3rd party suppliers
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with developers, management and business users
