Production Support Manager (Market Risk)

A Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking to hire a Production Support Manager to join the Market Risk Application Support team. There will be an element of hands on technical management, with a large element of stakeholder management. You will be directly managing the Market Risk application support team and providing staff appraisals and mentoring.

Requirements:
* Experience of working with Oracle-based applications and strong background in writing complex SQL queries in Oracle 10G. Use of tools like Toad.
* Strong UNIX/Linux background, including command line processing & understanding shell scripts.
* Experience of project life cycle, test, release and support procedures.
* Experience of supporting production systems using incident management and problem management tools (such as Global Service Desk - or similar) to ITIL standards.

* Experience in an application support management role

* UNIX/Linux/shell scripting
* ORACLE/Toad
* Sybase/SQL Advantage
* Microsoft SQL Server

* Java, J2EE
