Production Support Engineer - Test Developement

Our client is an internationally recognised, market leading company with over 70 years experience in the aerospace industry behind them. We are looking for numerous electro-mechanical test development Engineers with appropriate experience in development of test procedures, writing test scripts and schedules with the aim of updating the test department on the client's supplier's site.

This is not a test role but it would be beneficial for the right candidate to have some hands on experience with electronic testing as well as the software and equipment in use throughout this process. Indeed, the eventual suitor(s) will very much be focusing on the initial stages of developing and updating the overall test procedures and processes that are already in place. It is therefore vitally important that you are able to exhibit understanding and previous work experience in a role solely concerning this part of the electronic/electro-mechanical test procedure life cycle within the aerospace industry. The production Support Engineer will need to provide direct diagnostic support on product failures at board and LRU level as well as developing and maintaining a RAIL (Rolling Action Item List) for all issues.
