Capgemini Financial Services is looking for an experienced production support analyst/developer to join our team, working onsite with a key investment banking client.

The scope of the role is to provide detailed, in-depth escalation support of the systems as part of a three-tier model, with the solutions team being the third tier. This non-procedural support includes identifying and making code changes within the change management process, break/fixes and application maintenance.

The candidate should have the ability to understand the complexity of software-systems and deliver application-components when required. A good understanding of the support and development life cycles is necessary. The role will require a high degree of client interaction and business knowledge; the candidate should be interested in learning about the business and gaining the required knowledge. An understanding of the financial services industry and specifically the asset management business would be advantageous
