Telecommute every Monday and Friday! Alpharetta based Logistics company is seeking a Production Support Analyst for their small but growing team. This Analyst will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the ASP.NET applications, B2B interfaces, and our Back Office applications. A successful Production Support Analyst will be able to work independently in a small business setting while producing measurable results. This is a contract-to-perm arrangement in Alpharetta.

Day-to-day you will develop effective working relationships with your IT clients (located around the country) with the purpose of resolving replication issues and delivering business solutions. You will support critical data replication code (application currently replicates Oracle data to/from SQL Server). We will look to you to ensure the web site runs efficiently and is available 24x7. You will ensure the B2B XML communication application maintains effective transfer between our site and client sites. Ensure that the data replication application maintains effective transfer between our database and client database. Additional responsibility includes developing and maintaining software applications by being proficient in VB.NET/ASP.NET and TSQL for SQL 2008 (stored procedures). Work with QA Engineer during testing phase of development. Coming up to speed on logistics processes and systems utilized by shippers including functionality, services, billing procedures and general replication processes will be your biggest challenge.

Ideal candidate has 2+ years in VB.NET and ASP.NET and is proficient in TSQL and SQL Server 2008 including writing stored procedures. Any experience you have with XML is ideal (and almost required) but we can teach the right candidate XML if this is not a strength. Any experience you have with HTML, TFS, XSL, COM+ are also a big plus.
