Production Services Manager

An investment firm in Pittsburgh is currently looking for a Production Services Group Manager. Experience within the Financial/Trading industry is necessary. You will be responsible for managing a medium sized team, so previous management experience of distributed applications is necessary. Technical skills which are also helpful include Perl scripting, Unix/linux, SQL, etc. This is a full time, permanent position. The salary is approx 115-130k and no relocation assistance is available. You must currently hold Green Card status (EAD ok), permanent residency or US citizenship.

The successful candidate will manage three 24x7 teams: including production support, application services and application database support. You will work collaboratively with the development teams, infrastructure support, and business partners on ensuring as close to 100% production availability as possible.

You will be responsible for

* Setting support and communications standards for the group
* Enforcing change management policies and change implementation process
* Issue management, escalation, and statistics
* Manage implementations
* Staff development
