Production Planner Job

PRODUCTION PLANNER needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Carlos, CA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- MS Office standard, SAPobtain buy-in for the corresponding demand plans for FP, PP, DP, and DS
- Execute operational drug substance demand planning
- Participate/run local (within PharmOps site) and global (together with CPOs) S&OP planning
- Perform demand & supply planning
- Perform resource and capacity planning
- Represent site within Supply Support Teams for all life cycle related projects (launch, change, transfer, divestment and pruning) and ensure that local tasks are completed on time
- Track inventory development and adjust parameters if necessary (eg MOQ, coverage, frequency)
- Maintain operational KPIs
- Maintain MRP to ensure materials are provided according to schedule
- Ensures compliance with GMP/HSE regulations, policies, procedures and standards as appropriate for the role

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum of 8 years industry experience in an inventory control/manufacturing environment
- APICS certification strongly desired
- Experience working with MPR/ERP systems
- Background in labor capacity planning is preferred
- Previous experience working in a cGMP or GLP environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail regarding documentation is a must
- Project management skills are preferred
- Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Excellent organizational skills are required
- Must have ability to multi-task
- MS Office standard, SAP & some statistic software (MiniTab)
