Production Planner - Cumbria

Amoria Bond are currently looking for a Production Planner on an initial 3 month contract basis, with a further 12 month extension for strong performers, working for a major manufacturing client in Cumbria.

The successful Production Planner will be working in a 5 person team reporting to the Planning Manager. This is a fast paced role and requires an experienced Production Planner who excels in pressurised environments with short lead times, and is able to influence internal stakeholders.

The successful Production Planner requires the following key skills:
*Manufacturing
*MRP experience (SAP/MFGPro or other)
*Strong organisational skills
*Strong Communication skills
*Experience checking documentation, liaising with internal stakeholders

Main responsibilities:
*Dealing with internal manufacturing departments
*Raising & releasing work orders, shortage reports, expediting parts
*Hold dispatch meetings with internal stakeholders (Production, QC, Warehousing)
*Skills with spreadsheets
