One of our clients, an international company in the pharmaceutical industry currently requires a Production Planner
Start:ASAP
Length: 31/12/14
Location: South of Brussels
Description:
Within the company's Global Supply Chain organization there is a team of Master Planners managing the planning of production at all level of the Supply Chain.
The mission consists of supporting one of the Master planners who also has the responsibility of Global Key User and in that role needs to be release of some of his/her activities as Master Planner.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Master Planner in the following activities and responsibilities:
- Manage daily planning transactions (PO, bulk, allocation, release, prioritization, ..)
- Coordinate API, dosage form Bulk, and FG shipments between CMOs and Plants
- Ensure Follow-Up of invoices and ensure issue resolution
- Foolow-up of real production vs plan and take necessary actions (root cause analysis, production plan revision) in order to meet service level, capacity utilization and inventory optimization
- Run and control MRP in order to guarantee the requires production flexibility and reach the targeted inventory levels
Specific professional/technical expertise and key skills required:
- Ability to interact quickly with actors of the Supply Chain
- Autonomous and fast learner
- Analytical mindset
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to evolve in an international environment and feel comfortable with cultural differences
- Ability to integrate quickly in an organization
- Experience with SAP, Master planning, Inventory, Purchasing orders
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- 2-5 years experience in a similar job
- International experience
- English: Fluent
- French: plus
