Production Planner

Huxley Associates is currently recruiting for an experienced Production Scheduler who would be available to take on an interim 6 month contract assignment with a manufacturing client based in Wrexham.

Working as part of a larger planning team you will be working closely with one of the junior members to help plan and budget production schedules for the production department.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of planning manufacturing and engineering related projects. You will have experience processing orders, putting strategic plans together, managing budgets and developing schedules that the production team can follow.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

- Analyse and review lead times to reflect actual manufacturing processes
- Ensure SAP date accuracy is maintained through regular housekeeping of data
- Review BOM and master data as required
- Produce capacity plan detail to enable forward planning of production areas
- Produce department KPI's where applicable
- Undertake associated projects - stock, planning and production, master data actions etc
- Carry out forecasting and inventory analysis for future purchasing decisions
