Production Operator Job

PRODUCTION OPERATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in NEWARK, DE.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- As a Production Operator you will monitor and operates presses, tumblers, and sintering ovens ensuring quality and conformance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manufactures parts in accordance with safety, quality and production best practices and requirements.
- Monitors and operates production equipment, ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures.
- Performs minor maintenance functions within the operating area and within level of expertise.
- Maintains safety standards at all times and initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned by manager and/or supervisor.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts from 6am-6pm & 6pm- 6am. Shift schedules are subject to change as determined by business and production needs
- One to two (1-2) years of manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend Standard Practice documents and other written instructions.
- Good attendance record and demonstrated reliability.
- High School Diploma/GED
