Production/Manufacturing Engineer

Are you a hardworking, highly experienced manufacturing engineer with the ability to operate in a fast paced production environment?

PRODUCTION/MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - CONTRACT - BEDFORDSHIRE - £30 TO £40 PER HOUR

Due to increased workload, we have need of Manufacturing Engineers with Industrial/Heavy vehicle systems/mechanical bias.

MANUFACTURING/PRODUCTION ENGINEERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- The definition/preparation of manufacturing processes
- Procedures and production layouts for assemblies
- Equipment installation
- Processing associated with vehicle assembly, integration and test

You will be expected to write assembly instructions and process documentation for the assembly of highly detailed heavy vehicle systems. You will also be called upon to provide direct support to the shop floor during the assembly stages of the prototype vehicles.

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

These Production/Manufacturing engineers will be expected to write assembly instructions and process documentation for the assembly of advanced vehicle systems. These engineers will also be called upon to provide direct support to the shop floor during the assembly stages of the prototype vehicles.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience Production/Manufacturing Engineer
- HND or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related subject
- Significant demonstrable experience in writing assembly process instructions

TYPICAL MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Ideally require a Bachelors degree from an accredited college and capability typically achieved through around 5 years of professional experience. Will also consider individuals with equivalent experience/combined education. Considered career or journey level.
