Production Manager

THE PURPOSE OF THIS WORK IS TO:

The Production Manager will be responsible for the service delivered to internal and to external users. He/she will be:

- Accountable for the end-to-end Production Support service delivery against SLAs
- Plan and execute changes within Production environment
- Liaise with client stakeholders to understand the nature of day-to-day issues in production, be able coordinate response from my clients' support team and multiple external/client teams to resolve production issues.
- Regular verbal and written communication with client representatives and other support teams to clarify details of incidents or service requests to maintain production stability.
- Implement/meet user service requests
- Escalation point for operational issues.
- Managing and Organizing the day to day operations of the production team
- Defining the service levels with Business and PMs for all applications,
- Improving the quality of deliverables within an international organization in the finance industry, and provide platforms and stable for business services.
- Managing and organizing services delivered by provider for Run the Business and Change the Business Mode
- Owns SLA/KPI compliance for the Operations IT Production Support and other contractual compliances

THE CANDIDATE:

- ITIL Certification
- University degree (BSc) in computer science or engineering.
- Professional certifications relevant to the knowledge area

ESSENTIAL

- Should have worked with wide range of technologies, Java, Unix, mainframes and different application architecture to understand their support requirements
- Familiar with various application architecture, from Client Server to multi-tier web application architecture
- Experience on Windows and UNIX/Linux platform
- ITIL - Service Delivery, Service Management
- Applications Service Delivery/Set service levels in cooperation with users
- Operations Management IT production
- DR/Business Continuity

NICE TO HAVE

- JIRA or a management tool similar services
- Good RDBMS knowledge, particularly Oracle and Sybase databases
- Good knowledge of Virtualisation technologies (VMWare)
- Multiple data centres (Data Centre)/data centre migration
- Provision of a pan- European service.
