Production Leader

An exciting opportunity for a Production leader

Due to continued success with recent NPL's my client is looking for additional resources to assist them through this exciting time.

Reporting in to the Production manager, the main duties of the Production leader will be to assist in four key areas

1 -Quality - Giving full support to the quality team you will need to be aware of any internal quality open issues and the steps that are being taken to close these down

2 -Cost- Making sure that appropriate staffing levels and production rates fulfil client requirements within forecasted budget.

3-Continuous improvement - Through implementing workshops and dealing with general housekeeping (5s) you will mentor and coach teams to ensure that measures are taken to improve process and quality in a sustainable way.

4- Client requirements -Working closely with the clients to understand their requirements such as quantities and time lines.

Essential Skills Required-. A strong background within a managing a welding operation. Demonstrate a full understanding of Health and safety requirements within a manufacturing operation. Must be able to coach and mentor a team and bring in to line with company vision

My client requires an immediate start for this 12 month assignment and is offering a rate of £250 to £270 a day please note you will be required to work on shift basis that will include nights.. If you have the required skills please contact Paul Smith.
