Please read on if you have the following:
- A background in development on Windows Server (2000, 2003, 2008)
- Skills in Visual Basic, SQL Server and Scripting
The role involves not just development but the integration of applications running on a Windows infrastructure: security, network, Middleware The Production Integrator deploys and configures Windows applications for the test, pre-production and production environments, both manual and automated.
Tasks include:
- Creation and validation of operational documentation
- Creation and validation of procedural and operational scripts to automate the deployment and configuration of Windows applications
- Review of the architecture of applications
Work outside of business hours is sometimes necessary for launches in production.
Technologies: VB6 or VB.NET, SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, VBS or Perl Scripting.
Desirable: Microsoft Internet Information Server, MS COM+, ASP.NET, clustering, load balancing, DMZ, high availability environment experience.
