Production Engineering Manager

Your day to day will consist directing and co-ordinating the activities of the Engineering Department to ensure:
- Materials used perform as per specification
- Products are manufactured in accordance with customer requirements
- Engineering resource is planned in order to meet agreed deadlines
- Unexpected technical difficulties/engineering problems that arise are resolved

Plan and direct the installation, set up, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment.

Co-ordinate the introduction of new products to include:
- Process development
- Establishing process and equipment capabilities
- Specifying equipment and commissioning
- Procurement of required equipment (Internal or external design)
- The generation of process documentation
- Participation in the design review process
- Customer liaison
- Operator training
- Participating in the planning of and layout of manufacturing cells

I am looking for a candidate with Engineering / Manufacturing Management experience. It is important that you have worked in Electronics at some point. Exposure to Lean/ Six Sigma would be useful.
