Production Engineer Job

PRODUCTION ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in CHARLOTTE NC.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Purchasing experience, as far as Purchase Orders, Proper Inventory experience, and documentation.
- Design/Engineering
- Solidworks and AutoCAD

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design New Components under direction of Engineering Manager
- Use Solidworks to create 3D models
- Create 2D drawings
- Design special fixtures for manufacturing
- Assist with machining and assembly of prototypes
- Process Engineering Change Requests
- Create/Update User Manuals
- Document component addition/subtractions during prouction
- Create/Receive purchase orders
- Maintain proper inventoy with MRP/Kanban
- Track Purchase orders to maintain on time deliveries
- Cycle Counts
- Maintain Bin Locations
- Direct inventory once received to WIP or Storage Locations
- Remove obsolete items
- Open/close production work orders
- Create production packets with Drawing, pick sheet, w/o
- Create and Maintain Bill Of Material's

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Purchasing experience, inventory management and basic CAD design
- Microsoft Office
- Solidworks
- AutoCAD
- Adobe
