My client is a private Oil & Gas Company looking to add a qualified Production Engineer to its office in Houston, Texas.

Job Description:

* Monitor production rates and analyze well tests
* Monitor daily production operations
* Make recommendations for improving the performance of producing wells, artificial lift systems, and production facilities
* Prevent downhole corrosion in wells you oversee
* Responsible for artificial lift optimization
* Monitor equipment performance for efficiency, maintenance, or repair
* Prepare field reviews and cost estimates

Required Skills and Experiences:

* B.S. in Engineering, preferably Petroleum Engineering
* 8+ years of experience as a Production Engineer with an Oil & Gas Operator
* Knowledge of artificial lift methods
* Exposure to both oil and gas wells
* Ability to work independently and also within a group
* Strong communication and presentation skills
