Production Engineer-Cotton Valley

* Engineering design of all drilling and completion programs. * Fracture treatment designs for all new drilling wells. * Prepare written engineering well work over briefs for well site supervisors. * Design of pumping unit revisions and down hole modifications for wells that are off production. * Write AFE's for well work and do economic backup and justification calculations for AFE submittals. * Moderate the morning operations rig activity meeting. Schedule and coordinate all well work to optimize rig utilization and manpower requirements. * Drilling rig and work over rig Field Safety Management and liaison with Bonanza Creek Safety Supervisor * Wells team training on proper procedures for handling all equipment run in hole for pulling jobs work overs and completions * Cost control in field rig operations * Monitor expenditures against AFE amounts * Review well production on daily basis to insure that wells are optimized as to productivity. * Bid out all well work supplies for drilling and completions and pulling jobs. * Review failure analysis data to optimize pumping well installations. * Offer engineering support to wells team members on a variety of subjects; completion designs, work over fishing jobs, and production facility modifications. * Prepare documentation and drilling production reports as required * Strong initiative and ability to work independently in a team environment * Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed * Ability to travel on short notice and/or for extended periods
