Production Engineer

Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Southampton - £35,000-£40,000

Senior Manufacturing Engineer required for a leading advanced technology company based inSouthampton. You will join a young company with great energy and a renowned reputation in the engineering industry.

The Role

You will report directly to the operations director and work alongside the production manager. Your duties will be two-fold:

1) Manage new and existing NPI Projects including:

Support DFM, compile BOM and process definition within the ERP system

Advise on process design

Source capital equipment

Advise on design of jigs and fixtures

2) Process Improvement:

Implement lean manufacturing methodologies

Factory cost-out initiatives

Training of production operatives and technicians
