Production Development Director - R&D/Production Set Up - Validation/Process Development - Chemical/Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology.

Duration: 14 Months initially

Rate: Negotiable

Location: Midlands, UK

CPS are exclusively representing a global Powerhouse in their industry who are in the early stages of setting up a brand new R&D and Production facility in the Midlands area of the UK.

Our client is offering a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Development Director/Senior Project/Programme Manager to play a key role in the set up and running of the R&D unit.

This Unit will focus primarily on the delivery of Logistics within the Chemical and Pharmaceutical/Biotech arena with extensive exposure on the development and operation of production facilities. The R&D unit will handle a multitude of projects and client requirements on an ongoing basis thus making this a very busy role with a much required hands-on approach.

A full, detailed role profile is available on request but a brief overview of the skills/experience required for the role include:
* 10+ Years of relevant experience in process development/Validation, ideally with exposure to Solid oral dosage forms.
* Experience in the production of solid oral dosage forms, tablets, granulators etc.
* Solid leadership/management skills with an ability to lead in a Matrix organisation and manage multiple stakeholders and interfaces.
