Production Coordinator Job

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Mateo, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Participation in interactive entertainment events such as E3. Good overall knowledge of company products (games) and overall business objectives. Strong familiarity with games developed by studio.
- Works closely with design, production, and QA teams to ensure that feedback and requests are processed and completed accordingly.
- Facilitate scheduling and feedback across multiple departments and divisions.
- Collaborate effectively with design, production, and QA teams.
- Communicate progress updates effectively and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate department functions in all areas of production support including: production coordination, production support, project management and communication.
- Supports worldwide studio producers
- Reports directly into the Director of Product Development

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Three (3) plus years of related experience
- Enjoys creativity in a supporting role
- PEOPLE: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information, capacity to implement and monitor complex plans and schedules, work well with others, ability to make good and timely decisions in relatively complex situations, shows respect for individuals in all situations, ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response and turnaround, ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside the work group and the ability to solve routine problems effectively.
- PROCESS: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ability to administer a large number of parallel processes, ability to compile and effectively analyze industry and project related data.
- TECHNICAL: Proficiency in using Lotus Notes, Oracle, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and web site authoring applications such as Microsoft FrontPage. Ability to work effectively in heavily networked environment, including use of Intranet, shared scheduling and folders, instant messaging with local and remote teams.
- PLANNING/IMPLEMENTATION: Ability to utilize company databases and processes (Oracle, BPAF database, etc.) in support of production. Ability to define a project goal, outline issues pertaining to attainment of that goal, make a recommendation regarding course of action, and implement that course of action successfully. This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and managers, as well as frequent contact with high level outside developers and suppliers.
