PRODUCTION AUTOMATION SME
Our global pharmaceutical client, based in central Switzerland, are currently undertaking a new build project of a high-spec, automated facility of the future. They are building the project team and need experienced and confident individuals to support.
ROLE:
- Working alongside the production/manufacturing team, SME to support them on the communications with the automation department.
- Drive daily deliverables, ensuring output to set timelines and agreed standards.
- Responsible to prepare the following documentation for batch control, Recipes, electronic batch records:
- URS
- Functional Specifications
- Design Processes
- Ensure that manufacturing objectives and processes are clearly communicated to the automation team.
- Where misalignment between requirements and automation capabilities occurs, take the lead in finding win-win solutions.
- Support drive towards a fully paperless facility by helping to clarify processes, requirements and finding best-fit solutions with help of the automation team.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure company specific standards as well as Good engineering practices are met and maintained throughout the full project life cycle.
- Work closely with the project team and provide regular updates to the senior management team of the manufacturing department.
KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Strong experience within a manufacturing or production team and excellent grasp of production processes.
- Understanding of automation processes, ways of working and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of automated processes such as batch control, batch recipes, electronic batch records.
- Experience with greenfield/new build or large CAPEX projects within a GMP regulated environment beneficial.
- Excellent understanding of best manufacturing practices and documentation requirements for FDA and GMP.
- Outstanding communication skills, and previous experience working in interdisciplinary teams and reporting to senior management teams.
- Fluent German language skills essential, some English language knowledge required.
