Production Assistant Job

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Los Angeles, CA

THE BIG PICTURE- TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Minimum 1 year previous SHOW PRODUCTION or POST PRODUCTION experience with KNOWLEDGE of BASIC INDUSTRY TERMS AND STANDARDS
- Demonstrated experience in the brand and in supporting the visual and written language of promos through research and logging; excellent investigative skills and ability to trouble-shoot; strong sense of responsibility

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Perform Quality Control of all final promo deliveries to ensure quality, spelling, and tune-in times are accurate and executed on-brand, and that all logs, digital video files and promo tapes are in line
- Maintain constant awareness of network initiatives, show air dates and times, and deadlines of department deliverable's
- Screen and log footage for promo writer-producers, often under deadline
- Prepare video logs for night crew to build compilation video reels and other materials as needed for internal and external use
- Keep track of all department activities and support the overall workflow

- Must exhibit diplomacy and cooperation, must be organized, responsible, accurate, able to work well under deadline
