Product Test Engineer - 3 Months+ - North West

We are currently seeking to recruit a TEST ENGINEER (PRODUCT TEST ENGINEERING) whose main duties and responsibilities will comprise the following:- - Develop, program, maintain and improve all test processes:

- JTAG Device Programming
- JTAG Bounday Scan and Flash Programming
- Automotive Commissioning eg CAN/Flexray (other similar experience will be considered)
- NI Labview/Teststand
- ICT experience (Teradyne/Agilent)
- Strong participant in cross functional teams supporting manufacturing
- Optimize set up/programs to improve equipment effectiveness
- Analyze yield of test processes to ensure process capabilities and throughput
- Analyze defects to determine likely failure modes
- Knowledge of Automotive CAN, Programming in VB/C++
- Design/Development of new tooling for new/existing test processes
- Selection/liaison with Suppliers for both standard and bespoke equipment
- Experience with environmental testing - hot/cold functional testing
