Establish and maintain contact with all assigned account's key quality personnel
Visit these customers on a regular basis and assist them in all product quality and reliability issues
Coordinate failure and root causes analysis of returns, drive for corrective actions and follow up, monitor continuous improvements.
Review and release 8D reports to customer
Coordinate activities required to support and resolve customer quality/reliability issues, including but not limited to, organizing 3rd party rework, spearheading meetings/ conference calls etc.
Utilizes metrics, product reliability and statistical analysis to assess performance and facilitate identifying the biggest improvement opportunities
Track thorouoghly all quality/reliability issues and report them on a regular basis
Frequently report to the Management on overall customer satisfaction and scorecard results
Conduct audits and quality reviews, ensuring customer is fully informed of any corrective action taken as result of RCA process
Lead customer quality improvement programs
Acts as the customer's advocate and communicates efficiently with customers
This position requires
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline and product management skills in an global environment
3-5 years related work experience
Good experience and background interacting with customers (strong focus on customer orientation)
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly processes
Knowledge of Power Systems
Experience in Quality Engineering
Experience in trouble shooting and root cause analysis and its reporting and customer communication
Good ability to plan, schedule and manage multiple tasks including analytical prioritization and problem solving skills
Expertise in fundamental quality practices and methods including statistics, legal, cost, process and design quality
Individual must possess excellent written and communication skills in German & English
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical data and to effectively prepare and present information
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Strong team player and mediator
This position requires the ability to work flexible hours to support and/or coordinate meetings/ conference calls with the company's in Asia team and/ or the customer
