Product Support Engineer- Subsea- North of Aberdeen

I am currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an Oil and Gas company in the South West of England. This company is a large Service Company with offices across the country. They have many different projects going on and a diverse range of products. Requirements: * Strong C++ programming Skills * Expertise with ARM7 and Microchip PIC based microcontrollers. * RTOS for ARM7. * Data encoding, communication and modulation techniques. * Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for recovering signals from noise. * Protocol design and implementation over one or more of the following; UART/RS485, USB, CAN, Ethernet/TCP/IP. * Modern software development methodologies & tools e.g. C++ patterns & meta-programming, UML, static & unit test tools, scripting languages. Oil and Gas experience is an advantage but not a necessity. There is also an opportunity in this role to develop quickly. This role us URGENT and interviews will be taking place quickly.
