Product Support Coordinator

This job would be required to learn and understand products - how they function, proper operation, how to determine the cause of the failure, communication with the Design groups to solve dealer and customer issues. Communicate repairs to the dealer. This individual would use these skills to support the Dealer Network (DSN) and also may be responsible for identification and documentation of emerging quality issues, data mining, assist Black Belts with Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) issues by issue investigation, issue creation, and Green Belt led projects.

It is possible, depending on the development of the individual skills, that travel could be required to assist with product commissioning and dealer training. This job also would be involved in supporting the Product Support activities of the New Product Introduction (NPI) which would include attending meetings, and preparing and presenting materials such as past product quality summary, identification of carry over issues and development/coordination of training, rebuild instructions, reuse ability guidelines, and service parts identification.

Worker requirements:
An Engineer/Engineering Technology degree or previous field service experience is preferred. At a minimum, someone with a degree, has mechanical aptitude and or manufacturing background, is a good communicator, good with people, and a team player is a must. Must be willing to travel, and would be required to work eight hours day five days a week in most first shift. However, depending on the development of the individual may be asked to work overtime or a split shift, may need to work other hours to have conversation with people in different time zones and efficient with Microsoft office products.
