Product Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Telecommunications company for an experienced Product Specialist. The suitable candidate will be supporting the hardware program in conjunction with the appropriate Manager to enhance and further develop M2M devices.

THE SUITABLE APPLICANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- The development of new M2M Device Purchase plan offers
- Managing the M2M Device Certification program
- Manage and update reporting table for M2M hardware
- Introduce process improvements such as enhanced SIM ordering capability
- Support the provisioning and ordering process for M2M VPN product
- Supporting the M2M Enabler team with bringing to market new strategic offers.

Affectively this role will be centred on the M2M Growth strategy primarily through the development of new M2M Device purchase plans in the M2M Enablers portfolio plus build specific market offers using specialised devices eg patient monitoring or person.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

- Understand the relevant market segments, use technical expertise to identify and develop innovative product development opportunities for 3G industrial Routers and specialised devices.
- Create and deliver value proposition via new product development, product enhancements and partnerships
- Maintain of a strong working knowledge of the 3G Industrial device and M2M integrator market.
- Support sales with RFI/RFP response relating to M2M enablers and more specifically to 3G industrial Routers to maximise commercial success and increase win rate of opportunities
- Support as necessary the development of new offers within the M2M Enablers portfolio
- Support the development of product roadmaps, forecasts and plans in alignment of team, department and company objectives
- Own the Go To Market and product development initiatives relevant to portfolio Develop, dissect and contribute to business case, product and SIO modelling and forecasts
- Manage continuous customer experience improvements, product support/assurance improvements, pricing and product support collateral to drive positive NPS outcomes.

SKILLS NEEDED FOR THE ROLE:

- Minimum bachelor degree in either Marketing, Science, Engineering degree preferred
- Have a minimum of 5 years Product Management experience preferably in Telecommunications or IT
- Proven experience in developing and managing B2B products/services within the SMB and Enterprise/Government sectors
- Strong understanding of 3G Networks
