ROLE - Product Solution Specialist

DURATION - 3 months

LOCATION - London

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

Own the development of one or more emerging solutions in order to meet our client needs arising due to changes in our touch points. Develop the solutions under the assigned solution stream through in-depth engagement with Product teams.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Manage the process of requirements analysis and distil from the business requirements the technology and operational requirements for the chosen solution stream
- Engage the stakeholders across various functions
- Ensure effective business ownership through product development cycle ensuring all aspects are managed by the relevant specialist areas
- Seek and compile client feedback on solutions with a view to feedback and improve future plans.
- Identify and deliver cost reductions/service enhancements opportunities for chosen solutions
- Understand the end to end customer experience of the product: maximise customer delight through optimising the product-customer interface and resolution of customer service issues
- Ensure all governance, risk management, controls and compliance requirements are considered during development and BAU stages of these solutions

- Able to identify, understand and manage through a complex set of stakeholder relationships across a Matrix organisation
- Gets messages across clearly in a way others can understand
- Able to communicate complex ideas, issues and recommendations to different levels and backgrounds in presentation and written form
- Can articulate implications of recommendations in terms of strategic options, and describe how tactical issues relate to them.
- Able to conceive original and practical solutions to complex and business critical problems
- Understand at a high level the interface between complex business needs and the complex organisational environment in which the business operates

EXPERIENCE

- Has a good working knowledge of manual payment products and the key drivers of profitability and risk within these.
- Has managed complex product developments, starting from requirements gathering stage
- Has had a client facing Product/Sales role in the past.
- Can work with a wide range of stakeholders to facilitate delivery
