*MARKETING/PR PROJECT MANAGER WITH PRODUCT OR SERVICE MARKETING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR INITIAL 12 MONTH CONTRACT FOR PUBLIC SECTOR CLIENT BASED IN GLASGOW*

This role is an intergral part of a significant marketing and promotional campaign to increase awareness, interest and desire for the client's key message/series of events. The ideal candidate will be expected to develop content that can be used, across the widest possible range of channels (brochures, Twitter, webinars, Youtube, events etc) to promote the client's message to potential and existing customers.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

- Develop generic marketing proposition.
- Lead/co-ordinate content creation such as case-studies, speakers, videos etc for use across multiple channels eg press & PR, advertising, corporate documents, websites and other digital channels.
- Maintain bank of promotional material.
- Plan year long marketing activities
- Promote activities and messages via social media.
- Lead/co-ordinate activity on Intranet pages.
- Report on marketing activity.

ESSENTIAL

- Excellent written skills.
- Interpersonal & influencing skills.
- Innovative self starter.
- Team player.
- Social media experience particularly experience of using Twitter as well writing for the web.
- 5 YEARS OR MORE EXPERIENCE IN SERVICE OR PRODUCT MARKETING AND/OR PR OR COPYWRITING.

- Understanding or interest in technology and innovation.
