Product Quality Engineer (m/f)

- Qualification and release of a new reader IC. The product will be a derivative from an already existing device with new firmware running on it.
- Manage the qualification and release of the product.
- Cooperate with engineering, quality and reliability teams to manage the qualification.
- Product (IC) ownership in supply chain after release.
- Participate in design FMEAs to close

the feedback loop from production to design (DfM). - Define and drive qualification of new products and document the results.
- Support the ramp-up of new products.
- Tracking and reporting of product performance with respect to cost, yield and quality.
- Product improvements in view of cost reduction, quality increase and technical related issues.
- First contact person for customer return handling, start of electrical and physical analysis.
- Experience in quality engineering
- Knowledge of electrical measurement techniques
- Knowledge of statistical analysis
- Experience in quality tools (8D, 3x 5Why, 5S, fault tree analysis, etc.)
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to go to the Asian assembly sites during qualification
